What it involves

Hyaluronic acid-based skinbooster with low molecular weight. Its main function is to deeply hydrate the skin and improve its texture and appearance. It also softens expression lines and gives the skin a more radiant look from within.

Skinbooster Vital from Galderma Laboratory, of Swiss origin.

It can be injected in specific areas of the face or with the deep hydration protocol.

The 2-session protocol, 30 days apart, is recommended, with results lasting about 1 year.

Dr. Wohllk uses Restylane® Vital and Restylane® Vital Light, hyaluronic acid skinboosters from Galderma Laboratory, of Switzerland.

Dr. Wohllk shows boxes of Radiesse, NCTF and hyaluronic acid at the clinic.

After your session

Aftercare

These are the instructions Dr. Wohllk gives to each patient.

  • Avoid touching the treated area for 2 days.
  • Avoid makeup and creams for at least 2 days.
  • Avoid intense physical activity for at least 2 days.
  • Avoid saunas, steam baths and very hot showers directly on the face for 2 days.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure and UV rays; use SPF 50 sunscreen.
  • Do not have laser, chemical peels, facial cleansing or dermabrasion for at least 28 days.
  • Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol for at least 2 days.
  • Drink plenty of water.

Remember

  • The initial swelling and redness can last from 2 days to 1 week; it is normal and varies from patient to patient.
  • If you get a bruise, use arnica gel or local cold.
  • The 2-session protocol, 30 days apart, is recommended for the best Restylane Skinbooster results.
  • We recommend coming back within 6 to 8 months.
