After your session

Aftercare

These are the instructions Dr. Wohllk gives to each patient.

  • Do not massage or touch the treated area for at least 2 days.
  • Do not use makeup or creams on the area for at least 2 days.
  • Avoid intense physical activity for at least 2 days.
  • Avoid very sudden movements.
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol for at least 2 days.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure and UV rays; use SPF 50 sunscreen.
  • If you feel any area with more swelling, you can do gentle massages as indicated by the doctor.

Remember

  • The initial swelling and redness can last from 2 days to 1 week; it is normal and varies from patient to patient.
  • If you get a bruise, use arnica gel or local cold.
  • The 2-session protocol, 14 days apart, is recommended for the best BCN Oculare results.
  • We recommend coming back within 3 to 6 months.
